Whenever I have visited Ahmedabad, I have never missed a chance to indulge in the street food of this city. Even the smallest cart on the streets will have good quality stuff to offer. They will never compromise on the quality of ingredients used or the whole hearted preparation. Thus even if its small hawker on the streets, I don’t miss a chance to stop and experience it.
The preparation
Since I am in Ahmedabad currently, I am continuing my tradition of exploring local eateries. Driving in a locality called Kalupura on the outskirts of Ahmedabad, I came across this hawker selling Vadapavs. This has to be the spiciest Vadapav I have ever eaten on the streets of Gujarat. At first I thought the redness was only for colour but one bite and I knew what it was. The spices blew me off but the taste was unbeatable.
